Our Norcross story began by chance in 2008 with a simple detour to avoid traffic. Driving through the city’s quaint, historic downtown, I was immediately captivated by its charm and strong sense of community; you just know when you're at home. Soon after, my wife, Raven, and I bought our first home in the city. Norcross quickly became the backdrop for our life’s biggest moments. It still amazes us that our home today is just a short walk by Flint Hill where we were married, and began to build our future together, deeply rooted in the town we had fallen in love with. Even when a professional opportunity took our family to Texas, where we welcomed our first son, Jacob, Norcross was never far from our hearts. The pull to return was strong, and when the chance came, we knew exactly where we belonged. We moved back home, welcomed our second son, Mason, and replanted our family’s roots permanently in this wonderful community.
For me, however, simply living in Norcross wasn't enough. My career as an engineer and problem-solver for Fortune 500 companies gave me skills in strategy and leadership, and I felt a growing desire to apply that experience to serve the city that had given our family so much. My journey into public service started with volunteering. As a member, and later as Chairman of the Planning & Zoning Board, I worked alongside neighbors and city staff to help shape our city’s future. That experience showed me that my passion for our city could be channeled into real progress for every resident. It was the natural next step to run for City Council. And, In 2019, Norcross first gave me the opportunity to represent the voices of the community as a first time City Council Member and then again, in 2021, in the midst of the pandemic. And this November, I am seeking your trust and support to continue serving as your Norcross City Council Member.
